New representation of Pierre-André Valade in France and Belgium
From March 15th, in addition to his general management by Allied Artists in London,Pierre-André will be represented in France and Belgium by Nicole Viciana,
from the new agency International Art Management, Paris.

Danish composer Rune Glerup has dedicated his work Divertimento to Pierre-André Valade
The World premiere was given in Monte Carlo on April 3rd, 2011, within Le Printemps des Arts Festival
Swiss composer Gérard Zinsstag has dedicated his work Lasciar Vibrar to Pierre-André Valade.
The World premiere will be given during the Festival Tage für neue Musik in Zürich on Nov. 14th, 2010.
Danish composer Hans Abrahamsen has dedicated his orchestration of Nielsen's 6th Symphony
to Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen, Pierre-André Valade and Anders Beyer.
The World premiere was given in Copenhagen on June 5th, 2010, during the Athelas New Music Festival.
Recording of a new CD devoted to music by Tristan Murail
Pierre-André Valade has been recording in June in Holland for the French label Æon,conducting the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in two works
by Tristan Murail, Sillages and Contes Cruels. The composer was present during the recordings.
The CD will be released in September 2012

Chief Conductor of Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen.
Pierre-André Valade is the new Chief Conductor of Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen for three years.Since he left his music-directorship of Ensemble Court-circuit in January 2008, after sixteen years,
Pierre-André Valade was devoting himself to his guest conducting career, with many symphony orchestras and ensembles
While continuing this career, he will now collaborate for the next three seasons
with this wonderful Danish ensemble on close and more long term basis.
I am very pleased to be associated with these musicians et with their Artistic Director Anders Beyer for the three years to come,
with the perspective to build with them the most ambitious musical projects."

Top-three concerts of Year 2008 in Japan
The concert conducted by Pierre-André Valade on Aug. 25th, 2008 at Suntory Hall in Tokyo, leading the Tokyo Philharmonic in Les Espaces Acoustiques by Gérard Grisey, with soloist violist Michel Rouilly, has been listed on December 17th as one of the top three concerts of the year by the Asahi Shimbun, the most influencial daily newspaper in Japan.

On November 20th, 2008, the cd devoted to Hugues Dufourt recorded for the label Timpani by Pierre-André Valade conducting the Luxembourg Philharmonic, with soloist Gérard Caussé was awarded Diapason d'Or de l'année 2008 (golden diapason of the Year).
